The Richard Brendon cut crystal is mouth-blown in an area of Slovenia that is world-renowned for its glass-making heritage. Inspired by the skill and precision of the craft, Richard Brendon cut crystal collections use centuries-old techniques perfected in the area to create timeless and beautiful pieces that challenge the traditional aesthetic.
For the Fluted Collection, Richard partnered with Gleneagles in Scotland to develop the hand-crafted crystal collection. Fluted draws inspiration from the decadent cocktail culture of the 1920s, and fits perfectly in the American Bar at Gleneagles, which has been masterfully designed by David Collins Studio.
Like the cocktail glasses of the Art Deco era, Fluted stemware is light and perfectly proportioned, while the tumblers are reassuringly weighty. Each piece has been mouth- blown by master craftsmen to ensure the crystal is of the highest possible standard. The collection takes its name from the delicately placed fluted cuts that run the length of each piece. In signature Richard Brendon style, Fluted combines just the right amount of traditional and contemporary elements to create a progressive yet timeless collection.
